VFT is a global leader in fiber reactor separation technology. Come join a passionate team of scientists and engineers as we bring our technology to market. We’re seeking part-time Facilities Associates to assist across multiple departments (lab, engineering, assembly, warehouse & office).
The positions are part-time with flexibility on days/hours worked so long as they coincide with general business hours (M-F, 8-5) and have some consistency week to week. Desired hours 15-25 per week. Perfect for a student!
Responsibilities
In this role you can expect to:
- Manage and keep lab sink areas clean, wash lab equipment, clean and dry all used mechanical parts to assist Engineering and R&D
- Help with warehouse organizing for better inventory management and flow; assist with receiving inventory as required
- Keep trash cleaned up, clean up oil spills on the floors as testing occurs
- Assist with very light equipment assembly
- Facilities/building-related help as needed
- Participation in division team meetings as required
- Assist with light clerical duties and/or note taking or other R&D non-specialized tasks
- Run errands as needed (go to store to pick up parts, pick up catered lunches, etc.)
- Other duties as needed by the team
- Lifting of up to 25 lbs
