Dr. Daniel Garcia Rojas, PhD
Dr Rojas is an analytical chemist with extensive experience in analytical instrumentation, including ICP-OES, HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, NIR, XRF, auto-titrators, and rheology instruments. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rice University and has authored several research articles. In his current role as Senior Analytical Chemist & Project Lead at Visionary Fiber Technologies, he leads multiple projects focused on removing contaminants and extract high-value components.
He also manages the analytical group responsible for validating and developing analytical methodologies, purchasing new analytical instrument, training chemists, and troubleshooting equipment. Daniel’s previous roles include various positions as an Analytical Chemist at organizations such as Entegris, Brown University, Rice University, and ITESM.
Leslie Wood, MSc
Leslie Wood graduated with a Master of Science degree from Texas State University where her graduate thesis involved the synthesis, purification, and characterization of novel N-doping conductive polymers.
She spent nearly ten years post-graduation providing materials chemistry support for SBIR/STTR funded research and development with an emphasis on nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, and formulation for use in a variety of contexts including but not limited to: additive manufacturing, photonic sintering, sensors (electrochemical & optical), antennas/waveguides, obscurants, and thin films.
She now serves as a senior scientist at VFT where she participates in Fiber Reactor chemical processing and commercial development.
Dr. Peter Eckert, PhD
Peter did his doctoral research in physical chemistry at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a post-doctoral appointment at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in biophysical chemistry before joining the team at VFT.
He has published peer-reviewed research in a range of scientific topics including ultrafast molecular dynamics, analytical instrumentation development, and atmospheric chemistry. In his off-time Peter enjoys reading non-fiction and salsa dancing.

Dr. Oluwaseyi Ayeni, PhD
Dr. Oluwaseyi Ayeni, Ph.D., is an accomplished R&D Chemical Engineer with 13 years of experience, specializing in scaling up R&D prototypes and leading start-up applications for commercial deployment. As a key contributor at Visionary Fiber Technologies, Dr. Ayeni applies advanced Chemical Engineering principles to VFT’s fiber reactor technology, focusing on enhancing mass transport and improving process efficiency through dimensionless analysis, computational fluid dynamics, and process simulation. His expertise also extends to identifying and developing new technologies to expand VFT’s patent portfolio and intellectual property.
Dr. Ayeni began his career as a Drilling Fluids Engineer at Schlumberger, where he supported the drilling and production of oil wells for major clients like Chevron. His experience in managing complex multiphase flows in subsurface formations has proven invaluable in his current role. After years of fieldwork, he pursued advanced studies, earning a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Miskolc and a Ph.D. in Engineering (Chemical Engineering Specialization) from Tennessee Technological University, where he published notable peer-reviewed articles on mass transfer efficiency and characterization of phase structures in microfluidic channels.
Certified as a Drilling Fluids Engineer and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Dr. Ayeni brings a strong foundation in problem-solving, data interpretation, and collaborative innovation. His critical thinking and expertise in computational simulations add significant value to VFT, allowing the team to stay at the forefront of fluid dynamics in multiphase flow systems. Known for his accountability, resilience, and commitment to continuous improvement, Dr. Ayeni is dedicated to advancing VFT’s mission by meeting and exceeding project expectations and embracing new technologies to drive market leadership.
Daniel Brennan
Danny brings his expertise in financial modeling, customer proposals, contracting, market research, and application valuation. His role also involves managing investor relations and contributing to sales/marketing efforts. In this capacity, Danny supports strategic business growth by overseeing complex financial processes and collaborating closely with teams to drive company initiatives forward.
Danny’s career has spanned multiple years in finance, beginning with a foundational experience in public accounting, where he honed his financial acumen. He then transitioned into financial systems account management, a role that deepened his skills in managing financial processes and client relationships. These roles, combined with his hands-on experience in different facets of finance, have prepared him to excel as a strategic leader in his current position.
Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from The Ohio State University. His educational background, combined with his extensive industry experience, enables him to bring a comprehensive financial perspective to the team.
In his role, Danny leverages his financial expertise to provide value to the team and the company. He is known for his flexibility and willingness to adapt, especially in an agile organization, and he is committed to supporting the executive team and various business initiatives as needed. His approach is rooted in a dedication to delivering reliable, impactful financial insights that support informed decision-making across the organization.
Kale Schulte
Kale Schulte graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from Babson and has a BSME from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology. For 3 years he developed patents for the automotive industry in polymer fuel systems and as a lead 6-sigma process designer engineer. He spent the next 4 years in logistics, procurement and operations management developing commercial/residential properties in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
He then worked for 10 years in data analytics, project management and solution architecture, most notably for Kiva Systems (pre-Amazon acquisition) where he managed the design of pharmaceutical client systems and contracts in excess of $10M. Post-acquisition he founded a cosmetics and nutraceutical company providing over 30 proprietary product formulations for clients in skincare/personal body health.
He now serves as the Operations and EH&S Manager at VFT facilitating the efficient development and deployment of client projects and facility operations.
